Venue Hire
Subject to payment of the deposit and unless cancelled by Hay Bowling and Golf Club, the Hay Bowling and Golf Club agrees to hire the venue specified in the hire agreement under event location to the Hirer for the duration of the agreed times on the event date(s) for the purpose of the event on the terms of this agreement in consideration for the payment by the Hirer.
Confirmation of Booking: Upon receipt of the deposit, the booking will be confirmed.
The Hirer must:
(a) vacate Venue by the end of the agreed times;
(b) promptly remove any goods, materials, or waste brought into or produced in the Venue on behalf of or by the Hirer.
In the event that the Venue is left in a state deemed unsatisfactory in the reasonable opinion of management, the Hirer will be notified in writing and will be issued an invoice for any costs of returning the Venue to a satisfactory state.
Hiring Fee: venue hire is conditional upon the payment of a fee.
Cancellation by the Hirer:
- a) The Hirer may cancel a confirmed booking at any time.
- b) In the event of cancellation of a confirmed booking by the Hirer, the following cancellation fees may be charged, unless waived
- i) for cancellations more than 60 days before the Event Date a fee of $100, or
- ii) for cancellations 60 to 30 days before the Event Date, a fee of $100 and 25% of total quoted amounts, or
iii) for cancellations 30 to 14 days before the event date, a fee of $100 and 50% of total quoted amounts, or
- iv) for cancellations less than 14 days before the event date, a fee of 100% total quoted amounts
Alterations to the Venue:
Unless alterations have been authorised in writing, the Hirer must not:
(a) affix any sign, decoration or other item to any part of Venue; or
(b) interfere with or alter any electrical systems, lighting or sound systems.
If Alterations have been authorised, the Hirer must return venue to its original condition unless otherwise agreed in writing by.
Venue equipment: all venue equipment agreed by the venue to be used by the Hirer must be left in a state equivalent to that in which it was received by the Hirer with account for reasonable wear and tear.
Compliance with laws & other requirements: The Hirer shall:
(a) comply with the requirements of all relevant laws including, but not limited to, the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW);
(b) act in accordance with all rules set by the venue;
(c) act in accordance with all rules relating to the Venue;
Liquor and Licensing: The Hay Golf Club holds an on-premise liquor licence and BYO alcohol is not permitted.
Invitees: Hay Bowling and Golf Club reserves the right to refuse entry to Venue to any of the Hirer’s invitees.
